Ryan Hollon is an urban planner, educator, writer and synthesizer. He has worked with CUED since January of 2005, on projects ranging from labor market surveys to a conference on racial justice. Mr. Hollon is deeply committed to building a culture of peace on Chicago's streets. He has expressed this commitment through: anti-violence research at Northwestern University's Institute for Policy Research, the facilitation of restorative justice peacemaking circles on Chicago's South Side, guest editing a special edition of AREA magazine dedicated to sustainable approaches to public safety, community organizing around alternatives to incarceration on Chicago's West Side, and through his service on the Board of Directors for the Community Justice for Youth Institute.
